EUNAD – European Network for Psychosocial Crisis Management – Assisting Disabled in Case of Disaster

The project EUNAD aims toward the implementation and preparation of EU human rights-related assistance programmes for visually and hearing impaired survivors of disasters on the basis of existing guidelines, e.g. the products of former European projects EUTOPA and EUTOPA IP.

The project EUNAD-IP is funded by the Directorate Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection-DG ECHO. Following the accounts of the UN Disability Rights Convention it aims towards the continuation of implementation and preparation of EU human rights-related assistance programmes for visually and hearing impaired and physically and mentally disabled survivors of disasters. Concepts of psychosocial crisis management for disabled will be developed, evaluated and imparted. This will be conducted on the basis of existing guidelines and the results of former EU Projects.
